Since its establishment, many graduates of the Department have devoted themselves to diverse professional fields. A majority of our alumni work as clinical nurses at well-known teaching hospitals including the Taipei Veterans General Hospital, National Taiwan University Hospital and Taipei City Psychiatric Center, and have garnered good reputations.

Around one-third of our alumni continue their higher studies. Those pursuing higher education are enrolling at diverse medical care-related graduate institutes, including graduate institutes of nursing, health education, medical administration, public health, health and welfare, behavioral medicine, and basic medicine (physiology, anatomy, microbiology and immunology, pharmacology, biomedical engineering, genetics, toxicology, neurophysiology, biochemistry, biology and more). Students in medical care-related industries are working as medical consultants in the insurance industry, medical device managers, medical care information personnel, and various types of managers.
